Witches..just love making them :-) Here is my lates creation Witch Emily and her owl "AL". This is the first time that I dyed a fabric for the doll's dress. I love that Victorian scroll fabric so I figured I would try the dye technique and the result ..was fantastic! Not a bad choice to make it work with that fabric that you love and turn it into the theme you like and very cheap too! Yesterday we celebrated Dave`s kids Ally and Adam Bnai Mitzvah since they are twins, we had a morning service and then a great party at night till midnight. We all had a great time, so I admit i did not created this weekend ! But those precious family moments are priceless...

Boy we have gotten so much rain since last week, no Sun for a few days so far, everyone walking around the house in sweats and socks :-) ...I am working hard on my first Christmas little gals, they are coming to life for sure, since they got eyes now. I received this gorgeous Vintage German icicles that im using for the snow queen Antoniette`s crown, they are truly beautiful can`t wait to see her wearing it!

Weathon Arts Festival of fine Arts 2009

Just got back from the Wheaton Arts Festival, great show, lots of booths with wonderful handmade high end crafts, including carved wood, pottery, hand blown glass, jewerly, metal , leather, most of them had a live demostration,wich was really nice!, only one doll maker, her dolls were very nice, in some of them she used branches for their body and made their faces out of beads, really interesting... So many creations and such a beautiful day.. Also. I got the best kettle popcorn i ever had!.. Bought a big bag to bring home... Ok now i am taking some time to pant doll Cinnamon, she sure is looking sweet.....

Yesterday was my Birthday, I allready had cake on Saturday since we were able to get everyone (all the children ) together. Those above are the pictures. So I spend my birthday finishing Esther`s clothes, Im still waiting for her hair to arrive in the mail, so she has no hair yet. I will get a picture of her here soon.
